MY STORY

I originally trained as a primary school teacher. I am Mum to 8 children and Nan to 5 grandchildren.

I have always been interested in photography as a hobby and left the teaching profession after the birth of my youngest child who has Down's syndrome.  

I had my first camera for my 12th birthday, and I have gained quite a collection of cameras and photographs over the years since then.

I began studying for a city and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Photographic Capture and Display in 2012, as I wanted to take better photographs of my family. I then progressed to and gained a City & Guilds level 3 qualification in Photo Image Capture in 2014. I am considering beginning an HNC Photography course commencing September 2014.

I enjoy taking photos of babies and families both in the studio and out on location.

I also have experience of wedding photography, maternity-bump to baby shoots and created a modelling portfolio as one of my assignments at college.

I am now looking forward to taking my hobby to another level and am hoping to earn a small income by taking treasured photos for you without charging a small fortune like many other professional photographers.
